Has anyone here ever grown this plant? If so, what can kill English ivy permanently? I just bought it and want to take care of it.

I'm not totally sure, but I think that chemical control and glyphosate are very effective at killing this plant. If you want to use a non-chemical method, you can just remove the plant and throw it away. You can also block the sunlight from shining on the plant so that it cannot photosynthesize.

In my opinion, there are two main ways to kill English ivy for good. The first way is to dig up the roots and manually remove the roots and rhizomes. The second way is to use herbicides, such as glyphosate, which will kill your English ivy plants.
